honestly this is so fun! i love the grapple and the momentum i can play for hours

Bro I wanna make a Titanfall game so bad is there anyway I can work with you guys

(+1)

Wy always people that is not in a company make better games. This is amazing.

Best luck bro!!!

this game is beautiful and i can't wait to see what you'll do next but do you plan on adding a story? i know im hoping for too much but just curious

(+3)

ik its early days but, 🙏 add linux support <3

(+1)

I agree, please add support!

(+2)

Linux support is available if the game is launched in Proton via the Steam Client

Native Linux support would be awesome too if you added it in the future! -A fellow Linux user

I actually had really fun with this game and idk if I got to fight against a developer or not while I was seeing how things were with this game. I will say it ain't perfect but from my experience with the short time I played I will say Rodeoing needs to be added and I also notice that the advanced movement features see really janky and slightly glitchy and pls devs make it to where I can jump through windows, I cannot stress this enough because I keep getting caught in the window frames almost every time regardless of trying to go through them or not. TY for the experience, POLAR CX.

im a big fan of movement shooters and i think this has potential, but right now i feel like everything is quite clunky (yes i know its pre alpha, i think its fine for it to be clunky now).

I assume the dev team knows all of what im about to say, but i feel like adding to and changing the movement system would be very helpful in making the game better.

stuff like jump queueing, rocket jumping, being able to disconnect from your grapple by pressing space, having the wall-running move you on the x *and* y axis, jumping after sliding giving you a boost, etc etc.

good luck with the future of the game though! i hope it goes well

how do i connect a controller

(-3)

i have idea suggestions for the future:

Add Mac Compatibility

Upload To Steam

Work On More Types Of Mechs

Try To Get On Console (if possible)

Add Movement Perks

Add A Gamemode Like The Finals Cash Grab

Try Making A Campaign (i know this is asking a lot)

Add A Warzone Ish Gamemode Where You Have To Find Crates For Guns And It Is A Team Deathmatch With The Storm

These are just some ideas that i thought would make this game have more content

bro its pre-alpha

Bro really just asked "Can you do the most obvious shit, and can you add shit from other games".

is there anything bad in suggesting to upload to steam or add Mac compatibility? If there is then I guess you think that it would be better if the game stays windows-only here on itch without any bright future

Mate I never said it was a bad idea, I said it was a obvious and basic step in normal game development. Its like telling someone writing a book, who tells you they want to get it published. " hey you should publish your book." They are most likely already doing it.

I kinda agree with u on that though

Wow I wasn't expecting the reasonability, your a pretty cool dude, and perhaps I am being s little needlessly negative.

Idk, Mac support is rare. Suggestiond never hurt - worst case the devs’ beliefd are just cemented. :)

this is great, its got a fair bit of traction already, so you could even release the future full version on steam with an indie price tag and itll definitely be a success

i loved how fast you could go by slidehopping, just one thing, it was a bit annoying that the movement keys were messed up right after spawning and after wallrunning, cant really tell what was going on

now thinking about the ideal titanfall game for me, id like to see more attachment + gun + class varieties, since its something i feel like titanfall lacks. titanfall has great movement, you can go really fast, its all really satisfying but i feel like the game still lacks "stuff to do", like challenges, unlocking stuff for guns, etc, and while it does have camo challenges, i dont feel like they're as diverse and rewarding as camo unlocks in call of duty for example

or like, still talking about call of duty, how you could make a custom class that trades some things for others, which made your loadout focused on one gameplay style only instead of always having a grenade, i feel like having something like this could also be fun idk

but its great, id definitely buy this game, and i hope it all works out

(+1)

i love when shooters let you change your class and attatchments. I think it really gives the player a lot more agency, which is engaging

(+1)

how do i download it i have it extracted and everything

(-2)

minimum specs?

How do I get notified of updates? Is there a way way to use this on Steam?

What controller to use for splitscreen?

(1 edit)

Any! But all split-screen players must use controllers

insane movement, but I wish the walls didn't feel like glue whenever i touched them.

(+1)

This rocks man

(+1)

Can you add Linux?

The game works on Linux via Proton - add it to the Steam Client as a "non-steam game", and launch it through there.

I'll try!

how do you use the local multiplayer feature?

Connect a controller for each player, then launch a game either online or via LAN, pause the game and select "Start SplitScreen". Note that in split-screen mode, all players must use controllers.

thank you

what controllers is it compatible with?

Should be compatiable with Playstation and Xbox controllers

can a person use a keyboard and another use a controller?

Not right now, but we will add that in the future

ok

(+2)

this fuckin ROCKS, all it needs are some bots and its perfect lmao, absolutely no complaints, and the optimization is great, i can run it on a potato lmfao

(+3)

Make it cell shaded or something, trust 🙏

A very fun game with interesting movement mechanics. And better played with friends. I will definitely keep a look out for future releases. Also looking forward to steamworks integration, EOS is hectic.

its good.

Singlehandedly outperforming countless AAA studios!

(+1)

This is very interesting and promises a lot!

(+2)

As someone who spent countless hours playing Titanfall, I love this project. This is amazing cant wait to see what y'all do with this in upcoming months!! If you guys need any helps, animation / art wise. I'd love to help out :)

(+5)

I hope this releases on Steam and uses steamworks and not EOS, cause EOS sucks major dick.

Agreed

(+3)

amazing potential, def gonna play a bit and keep an eye out for a full release in the future!

(+3)

i played it for awhile great movements  if possible work on optimizeing the game for low end devices so as to reach a larger audience and for more smooth game play

(+2)

I just downloaded the game within the last 20 minutes and it says its not up to date. Also, no games to be found (Probably because of the time), but some silly brainless AI could give me something to do. Feels good gliding around the map and destroying stuff. very excited too see this project grow

(+2)

Congratulations!! I cann't not play online because I want to use Google for loging. Anyway I tried a Lan party to play alone and the mechanics are very nice!! Graphics cool, is fast, easy and I love that claw!! And you did it in Unreal Engine. It's impressive!!

(+3)

I have tried  the demo, I see potential a lot :) Spawning in building and cant get out on stairs lil bit annoying, but grappling is fun. As a dev, have you totally finished the epic online service verification ( I mean at the domain, is it verified with yellow or green indicator? :) I'm just curious

(+6)

This looks sick! I will definitely play this A LOT when the game is more developed (EG just more maps and guns and polish)!
I like movement shooters and I like the Finals! This game would be perfect for me!

(+6)

were titanfall come man make one  it dam good movement shooter jusst add titan

(+2)

Mechs are in the latest build!

(+3)

thank you thank you

(+6)

God blessed my youtube feed for this
